AMENDMENT TO THE DECREE
OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE
NO. 230/MPP/KEP/7/1997
CONCERNING
ON GOODS SUBJECT TO THE TRADE IMPORT SYSTEM
AS ALREADY SEVERAL TIMES AMENDED THE LATEST BY
THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 439/MPP/KEP/9/1998

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE,

Considering :

• a. that within the framework of national economic reforms for the purpose of enhancing domestic industrial efficiency and ensuring smooth flows of goods, it is deemed necessary to amend the Decree of the Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 on goods subject to the import trade system as already several times amended the latest by the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 439/MPP/Kep/9/1998;
• b. that to this end, it is necessary to issue a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade to this effect.

In view of :

• 1. The Decree of the Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 on goods subject to the import trade system as already several times amended the latest by the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 439/MPP/Kep/9/1998;
• 2. The Decree of the Industry and Trade No. 275/MPP/Kep/6/1999 on the motor vehicle industry;
• 3. The Decree of the Industry and Trade No. 276/MPP/Kep/6/1999 on the registration of types and variants of motor vehicles.

DECIDES

To stipulate:

THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE CONCERNING AMENDMENT TO THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 230/MPP/KEP/7/1997 ON GOODS SUBJECT TO THE TRADE IMPORT SYSTEM AS ALREADY SEVERAL TIMES AMENDED THE LATEST BY THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 439/MPP/KEP/9/1998.

Article I

To improve the Decree of the Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 so that it reads as follows:

1. To revoke Article 1 point h.

2. To amend Attachment I, No. 148 through 194, so that they change from the original provisions in column 4 of the attachment to this decree into those in column 5 of the attachment to this decree.

3. To amend Article 6, so that it reads as follows:

"Article 6

Any import of motor vehicles shall observe the provisions as stipulated in the Decrees of the Minister of Finance No. 275/MPP/Kep/6/1999 and No. 276/MPP/Kep/6/1999."

4. With the enforcement of this decree, all the other provisions contained in the Decree of the Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 on goods subject to the import trade system as already several times amended the latest by the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 439/MPP/Kep/9/1998, shall remain valid.

Article II

This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, this decree shall be announced by publishing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
